Al Majlis to 2nd December Trip Cut to One Minute as Final Bridge Opens
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority will open the final bridge of the World Trade Centre Roundabout Development Project on Friday, October 30, 2026. Daily motorists travelling from Al Majlis Street toward 2nd December Street will see capacity expand to approximately 3,000 vehicles per hour across the new two-lane corridor.
New 1,000-Metre Flyover Slashes Peak Travel Times Across Key Intersection
The 1,000-metre structure cuts journey times between Al Majlis Street and 2nd December Street from six minutes down to one minute.
The completion marks the final operational phase of the broader World Trade Centre Roundabout Development Project, which encompasses five bridges spanning a combined length of 5,000 metres designed to reduce overall intersection delays from 12 minutes to 90 seconds for roughly 500,000 commuters.
