Special TV Guest Spot Confirmed for Junior MasterChef Australia
Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, will return to Australian television as a special guest on *Junior MasterChef Australia* alongside host Poh Ling Yeow. Television producers confirmed the 45-year-old will mentor young culinary contestants during a brief filming period lasting a few weeks, rather than taking on a permanent hosting role.
Guest Mentoring Role Follows Earlier Franchise Appearance
The Duchess will guide young contestants in the kitchen alongside Yeow, following a previous guest judging appearance on *MasterChef Australia* in April. During that visit, Markle appeared alongside Yeow, Sofia Levin, and Jean-Christophe Novelli. Her television background in food programming includes her Netflix series *With Love, Meghan* and a 2016 appearance judging young cooks on Food Network’s *Chopped Junior*.
The filming schedule requires a temporary stay in Australia, while Prince Harry and their children, seven-year-old Prince Archie and five-year-old Princess Lilibet, remain in their primary residence.
Production logic dictates the return of the youth-focused spin-off series after producers approached Markle following her earlier guest appearance on the main show.
