Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA)
Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), established in 1985, is Dubai’s first and largest free zone, strategically located next to Jebel Ali Port, the Middle East’s busiest seaport. It is home to more than 9,500 companies, including multinationals, SMEs, and logistics giants.
JAFZA specializes in logistics, shipping, trade, and manufacturing, offering businesses access to global supply chains. Its proximity to both Jebel Ali Port and Al Maktoum International Airport makes it ideal for import-export companies.
The free zone provides 100% foreign ownership, tax exemptions, and flexible warehousing and office solutions. It also supports industries like petrochemicals, steel, and electronics, making it one of the most diverse business ecosystems in the UAE.
JAFZA is a cornerstone of Dubai’s economic strategy, contributing nearly 23% of the emirate’s GDP and serving as a model for other free zones in the region.
