MOFA Digital Attestation: UAE-Issued Certificates in About Two Hours
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) can attest UAE-issued educational certificates and other eligible documents fully online. Processing takes up to two hours during working hours, with no courier and no office visit.
Which Documents Qualify
The digital route is only for an original digital document issued in the UAE by a supported authority. The document must carry a verification feature such as a QR code, barcode or reference number. Scans and photos of paper certificates are not accepted. Paper documents go through the courier route, which is covered in our MOFA attestation guide.
How to Apply
- Sign in with UAE PASS on the MOFA website or the UAE MOFA app.
- Select the issuing authority and the document type, and confirm the document was issued in the UAE.
- Upload the original digital PDF and choose the destination country.
- Pay and submit. The total is shown before you pay.
- Receive the attested document by email or under My Requests.
