e& and du Bill Due Dates: What Happens If You Pay Late
Postpaid mobile customers in the UAE are billed on different cycles depending on the provider. Knowing yours helps you avoid a suspended line and protects your payment record.
e& Postpaid Billing
- Bill date: generated on the first day of each month.
- Due date: usually the 15th, giving a 15-day window. The date is also shown on your bill in the e& app.
- Notice: an SMS confirms the amount and due date.
- Late payment: reminders are sent and the line may be suspended, with an SMS at least 24 hours before suspension. e& says unpaid bills do not attract a late payment fee, but overdue amounts can still lead to suspension and reconnection charges may apply, so check with e&.
du Postpaid Billing
- Bill date: depends on when you subscribed to your postpaid plan. The invoice is generated within four days after your billing cycle ends.
- Due date: sent by SMS and printed on your monthly PDF or digital statement.
- Late payment: regular email and SMS warnings follow. If the bill is still unpaid at the due date, the line is suspended and both incoming and outgoing calls are blocked.

How to Pay
Both providers accept payment in their apps, at payment machines in malls and community centres, by phone banking and at money exchange houses. e& also offers etisalat.ae/quickpay for card payments, and du offers myaccount.du.ae quick pay.
Set Up Autopay
For e&, link a credit or debit card in the e& app and the monthly amount is deducted automatically. For du, open the du app, go to Settings, then Billing & Payment, then Payment Method, and choose Set up Auto-payment. Accept the terms to enable AutoPay, adding a credit card if none is saved.
