The UAE’s midday work ban, which prohibits outdoor work under direct sunlight from 12:30pm to 3pm between June 15 and September 15, has achieved a 99% compliance rate among private sector companies. This policy, enforced by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), aims to protect workers from heat exhaustion, heatstroke, and other heat-related illnesses during the peak summer months.
