Cut Trade Centre Wait Times: 1,000m Bridge Opens to Satwa
Drivers heading from Sheikh Rashid Road toward 2nd December Street have a direct line through the area starting today. RTA has opened a 1,000-metre structure designed to clear up one of the corridor’s most persistent morning pinch points.
Shorter Waits at the World Trade Centre Junction
The new two-lane pass handles up to around 3,000 vehicles every hour, pulling traffic smoothly across the corridor toward Al Satwa and Jumeirah. That extra lane capacity aims to cut down sitting time at the busy World Trade Centre Intersection, giving commuters coming off Sheikh Zayed Road a much cleaner run through the signal.
Dubai Media Office confirmed the completed layout is now open and fully integrated into the existing road network.
