Fuel Rates Hike Adds Up to Dh14.80 Per Tank Starting September 1
Fuel prices across the UAE will increase on September 1, 2026, pushing retail petrol up by Dh0.20 per litre across all grades and raising diesel by Dh0.50 per litre. The revised rates, approved under the Ministry of Energy’s monthly pricing framework, reflect shifting global benchmark oil prices combined with local distribution operating costs.
Fleet Logistics and Commuter Budgets Face Sharp September Increases
Commercial transport operations and private vehicle owners will see immediate cost pressure starting tomorrow. Diesel saw the sharpest monthly jump, climbing from Dh3.80 per litre in August to Dh4.30 per litre for September, a move that directly inflates operational expenses for logistics operators, heavy equipment users, and transport fleets.
