Starlink went live in the UAE on 3 September 2026
Starlink’s residential satellite internet went live in the UAE on Thursday 3 September 2026, a few days after the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) granted the company its licence. Starlink and SpaceX chief Elon Musk announced the launch on X. The entry plan costs Dh300 a month with unlimited data and a 30-day trial.

Ordering and delivery
Orders go through Starlink’s website. During the pre-order stage, customers joined a waitlist and paid deposits. Starlink’s site warned of shipping delays caused by high demand and regional logistics, and said delivery timelines would be announced later.
Service is not available at every address. Within days of launch, some Dubai and Abu Dhabi addresses showed as at capacity, with a deposit-based waitlist instead.
