500 Global Capital Chiefs Convene in Dubai for Private Summit
Dubai welcomed around 500 senior decision-makers from the global investment community yesterday as Tycoons, an initiative of the AIM Global Foundation, launched its inaugural edition in the emirate.
Closed-Door Summit Targets Long-Term Cross-Border Deals
Held immediately ahead of the official opening of AIM Congress 2026, the invitation-only platform gathered sovereign wealth fund leaders, family office principals, institutional investors, CEOs, and founders. The sessions bypassed routine networking, using private roundtables and closed-door dialogues to focus on emerging-market strategies, sustainability frameworks, and governance innovation for cross-border capital.
Curated meetings allowed wealth managers and founders to explore direct investment partnerships built on long-term capital alignment rather than quick transaction cycles. Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade and Chairman of AIM Congress, stated that specialized platforms like Tycoons provide a dedicated environment for capital owners to build sustainable partnerships within the country’s regulatory framework. Dawood Al Shezawi, Chairman of the AIM Global Foundation, noted that the inaugural platform directly addresses growing demand for private spaces to address legacy and governance as capital moves at an increasingly rapid pace worldwide.
The summit concluded its opening discussions ahead of the broader sessions scheduled for AIM Congress 2026.
