October 10 Return Set for Ripe Market’s 15th Season
Grass underfoot, food trucks lined up, and rows of open-air stalls stretch across the park as Ripe Market prepares to launch its 15th anniversary season. It remains a straightforward alternative to another weekend in a shopping mall, bringing local farmers, small UAE brands, and independent food vendors out into the open air. Kids get plenty of grass to run wild on, alongside a petting zoo, pony rides, a carousel, a mini train, and inflatables.
Market Schedule and Location Details
The market runs every Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 9pm at Dubai Police Academy Park in Umm Suqeim. Opening day is set for Saturday, October 10, and the season continues every weekend through to May 2.
The anniversary setup brings together fresh regional produce, craft workshops, community sports, and free wellness sessions. Independent food trucks and pop-up kitchens operate across the full twelve-hour window, switching from morning bites to late-afternoon meals and evening street food.
Weekends get crowded, and parking near the park stalls quickly by early afternoon. To avoid circling for a space, aim to arrive before 11am or after 5pm. If you want to browse the vendor stalls without battling the afternoon surge, Sunday morning offers the quietest stretch of the weekend.
