Original *Charlie’s Angels* cast members Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith, and Cheryl Ladd reunited on stage at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on September 14, 2026, during the 78th Emmy Awards. Television audiences and entertainment industry figures watched the trio mark the 50th anniversary of the show’s 1976 premiere while honoring late co-star Farrah Fawcett.

The former co-stars received a standing ovation as they took the stage to present the award for Outstanding Drama Series to *The Pitt*. During the appearance, Smith remembered Fawcett, who starred as Jill Munroe in the original 1976 line-up alongside Smith and Jackson, noting that her late friend continues to live on in public memory years after her death. Jackson described Fawcett as globally cherished and unforgotten, while Ladd referenced Fawcett’s iconic red swimsuit poster.
Fawcett departed the show as a regular after its first season, leading to Ladd joining the cast for the second season as her character’s younger sister, Kris Munroe. Fawcett later died in 2009 at the age of 62.
The original television series ran for five seasons before ending in 1981, subsequently inspiring several feature film adaptations.
