64-minute Dubai-Abu Dhabi trains open for booking ahead of Sept 30 launch
Etihad Rail has opened passenger ticket bookings across its official website and mobile application for services connecting Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Fujairah ahead of the network’s formal launch on September 30, 2026. Inter-emirate commuters and travellers can now reserve seats directly from Dubai’s Al Yalayis Station for daily routes across the country.
Five daily trains will link Dubai and Abu Dhabi in 64 minutes
Rail passengers traveling from Dubai to Abu Dhabi have five daily services to choose from, with the earliest departure scheduled for 6:15 am. The direct trip between Al Yalayis Station and Abu Dhabi Station takes one hour and four minutes. For journeys heading east toward Fujairah, Etihad Rail currently operates one daily direct service from Dubai, completing the run in one hour and 10 minutes.
Travelers can select between two cabin categories across all routes. Comfort Class features complimentary Wi-Fi, individual seat power sockets, and access to an onboard food and beverage trolley. Premium Class adds wider reclining seats, expanded legroom, complimentary snacks and refreshments, and a quiet cabin environment. Promotional launch fares on the platform include a 50 percent discount, with Abu Dhabi to Fujairah routes showing Comfort Class seats from Dh55 and Premium Class seats from Dh120.
