20,000 Apply in 48 Hours for New Roles at Museum of the Future
Along Sheikh Zayed Road, the Museum of the Future sits quiet during its temporary closure, but its hiring channels are flooded. The landmark venue received over 20,000 applications for its new ‘Future Perfects’ roles within the first 48 hours of launching the campaign, with its website recording 42,000 visits over the same window.
No Prior Experience Needed for Full-Time Visitor Roles
The recruitment drive targets full-time positions on the venue’s Visitor Experience team ahead of a planned reopening in 2027. Applicants do not need any background in museum operations or customer service. Instead, candidate evaluations center on personal traits, including emotional intelligence, curiosity, imagination, warmth, and adaptability.
The selection process moves from initial application reviews into structured assessments and shortlisting. Selected candidates will then take part in live auditions before an expert judging panel. Residents and international applicants have until November 8 to submit their details through Futureperfects.ae.
The hiring effort aligns with an ongoing refresh of the attraction, which temporarily closed on September 1 to build its next generation of exhibits for its fifth anniversary in 2027. Azza AlNuaimi, chief operating officer of the Museum of the Future, stated that shaping the future requires making complex knowledge accessible to others through conversation and storytelling.
The recruited team will join the full-time staff to guide guests through topics covering science, technology, nature, and society when the doors reopen.
