Yas Island visitors and weekend crowds tracking the expansion at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi won’t need to wait much longer for a closer look at the park’s upcoming magic.
The official Harry Potter Instagram account confirmed during its Back to Hogwarts Showcase that a full reveal for the three upcoming lands, Hogwarts Castle, Diagon Alley, and the Forbidden Forest, is scheduled for Monday, September 7, at 12pm UAE time.
First announced by developer Miral back in 2022, the multi-land project brings a massive 40,000-square-metre extension to the indoor theme park. Construction on the site kicked off last year, per industry reports from *MEED*. While an official opening timeline from developers is still pending, a recent report from *The National* citing consultancy firm Entertainment + Culture Advisors points toward an expected opening in 2029.
Fans visiting the park over the summer already caught an early preview when Warner Bros. World quietly converted the former Treasures of Hollywood Store near the central plaza into a dedicated merchandise hub. That temporary takeover stocked shelves with house-themed apparel, wands, and spell books ahead of the broader rollout.
