November Races Stay on Schedule at Lusail Pending Mid-September F1 Ruling
Qatar is moving ahead with preparations to host the MotoGP on November 8 and Formula One on November 29 at the Lusail International Circuit near Doha. Motorsport organizers and racing teams face a crucial mid-September timeline when Formula One leadership will make a final decision on whether the grand prix proceeds.
Full Airport Operations Support Race Logistics as Track Organizers Push Forward
Lusail International Circuit remains fully operational with event infrastructure preparations, while Qatar‘s airport continues operating at 100 per cent capacity for transit flights between Europe and Asia. Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation President Abdul Rahman bin Abdullatif Al Mannai confirmed that local organizers are treating both November events as confirmed go-aheads, even after the World Endurance Championship cancelled its October 24 race at the same track.
The race evaluation follows ongoing regional maritime and airspace disruptions linked to the conflict that began in February 2026.
