*Mirzapur: The Movie* reached a worldwide gross of approximately Rs 193 crore within six days of its September 4 release, positioning the crime drama to cross the Rs 200 crore milestone ahead of its second weekend. Film distributors and trade analysts observed a rare theatrical transition for a streaming franchise adaptation, with domestic net earnings reaching Rs 137.90 crore across 10,705 screenings in India.
Opening Weekend Drive Outpaces Earlier 2026 Hits Despite Weekday Drop
India collections logged a net Rs 12.55 crore on day six following a peak single-day performance of Rs 36 crore on day three. The opening sequence generated Rs 25.75 crore net on day one, marking the fourth-highest Hindi opening of the year, before rising to Rs 32 crore net on day two and hit the Rs 100 crore net threshold within four days. It is the ninth Hindi release of 2026 to reach that benchmark.
Subsequent weekday collections adjusted to Rs 16 crore net on day four and Rs 15.60 crore net on day five, representing a 65 per cent decline from the Sunday peak to Wednesday. Total domestic gross stood at Rs 164.48 crore, while overseas markets added roughly Rs 2 crore on day six to bring total international gross to Rs 29 crore.
Combined global earnings pushed the film past Akshay Kumar’s *Welcome to the Jungle*, which recorded Rs 137 crore, while closing in on the Hindi collections of Yash’s *Toxic* at Rs 143 crore. Trade tracker Sacnilk confirmed the show counts and collection figures across Indian circuits.
