Free Nakheel Palm Run 2026 Hits Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk on Nov 14
Runners hitting the weekend routine on Saturday, November 14, will find the outer edge of the island blocked off for fitness as the Nakheel Palm Run returns to the Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk. Organised by Nakheel, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, alongside events company Race ME, the morning brings back a community favourite with zero entry fees and sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai skyline.
If you are planning to join the crowd, leave the car keys at home because there is strictly no parking at the venue itself. Organisers advise participants to park at Nakheel Mall and hop on the Palm Monorail instead. A round-trip monorail ticket comes bundled right into your runner’s entry, while spectators can tack on their own transit passes during the online booking process.
The programme kicks off early, with the race village and registration opening at 5:30 am. Things move fast across three distinct categories: the 10km Challenge for ages 13 and above starts at 6:30 am, followed by the 5km Speed Run at 7:30 am for the same age group. Families looking to run together can target the 3km Family Fun Run at 8:00 am, which welcomes children starting from age three. Big Rossi is hosting the morning’s entertainment, with prize-giving slated for 8:30 am before the event wraps up at 11:00 am.
Everyone who crosses the finish line walks away with an official medal and a digital certificate, while all registered participants receive a commemorative race T-shirt.
Compared to the inaugural 2023 outing, which featured a half marathon and a dedicated 1km kids dash, this year’s setup trades the longer endurance distances for a streamlined family-and-speed format and a minimum age requirement of 13 for the two longer races. Registration is live right now through the Premier Online booking platform, though spaces typically fill up fast given the event’s annual sell-out status.
