Dh5.99 to Dh1,199: Meta One Subscriptions Roll Out Across UAE Apps
Residents checking their phones across the UAE this week are seeing a brand-new tier of options pop up across WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook. Meta has officially brought its tiered subscription service, Meta One, to the country, giving individuals, creators, and businesses a way to unlock heavier computing power and advanced tools.
If you just want to chat with friends or scroll through feeds like normal, you don’t have to pay a fils. Meta confirmed that core features across its apps and Meta AI remain completely free for UAE residents. The new subscriptions are purely for extra capabilities that demand more computing power.
Pricing across the new lineup spans from Dh5.99 up to Dh1,199 a month, with exact costs varying depending on the specific app, account type, and region. Globally and regionally, the rollout has already tallied more than 15 million subscriptions and trials as of Tuesday, spanning over 50 initial features.
For personal accounts, the single product plans, Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus, and WhatsApp Plus, bring specific routine upgrades. Instagram Plus adds custom DM and Story fonts, alerts when certain people check out your Story, and direct message previews. Facebook Plus tackles Messenger customisation, deeper Reels insights, and expanded super reactions. Over on WhatsApp Plus, users get tested storage for chat and media backups alongside Focus Schedules, which lets you hide or mute chats on a timer.
Power users and creators looking for heavier lifting can opt for the Core and Premium bundles. These combine single-app features with advanced AI tools, allowing for deeper image creation and editing, video generation powered by Muse models, and expanded use of features like Restyle on Instagram. Creator and business plans push things further by adding professional tools directly into existing apps. That includes enhanced profiles showcasing websites and locations, bold follow buttons on reels, automated follow invitations for people who engage with content, and an upgraded Meta Business Agent to handle customer communications.
Meta plans to expand the service over time, bringing Edits and AI glasses into the fold alongside extra cloud storage for cross-device project syncing via Edits Plus.
