Emirates has equipped 65 aircraft with Starlink satellite internet and plans to add the service to 10 to 12 more aircraft each month, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer Adnan Kazim said in an interview reported on 26 October 2026.
The count has roughly doubled since 14 May 2026, when 33 Emirates aircraft had free Starlink Wi-Fi. The rollout plan covers 232 Boeing 777 and A380 aircraft.
Kazim said Emirates has received 20 Airbus aircraft so far and expects four more before the end of 2026, followed by one Airbus a month throughout 2027. Deliveries of new Boeing aircraft are due to begin in summer 2027. Cabin retrofits have been completed on 104 aircraft, against a target of 116 by the end of 2026.
The Emirates Group annual report for 2025-26 shows 277 aircraft in operation at the end of March 2026, with an average age of 10.8 years. Emirates raised Dh10 billion through aircraft financing in domestic and international markets. At the Dubai Airshow 2025 it announced orders for 65 Boeing 777-9 and eight Airbus A350-900 aircraft, valued at about $41.4 billion at list prices.
