UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended the Germany-UAE Business Forum in Munich on September 11, 2026, overseeing the execution of 30 bilateral commercial partnerships. The agreements channel approximately 9.66 billion euros into joint economic projects, connecting commercial investors, technology firms, and industrial operators across both nations.
Bilateral Accords Target €9.66 Billion Across AI, Clean Energy, and Aviation
The deals directly commit capital across key economic sectors: renewable and clean energy infrastructure, oil and gas, advanced technology and artificial intelligence, industry and manufacturing, logistics, transport, ports and aviation, healthcare and life sciences, agriculture and food security, and consumer goods. Senior executives and investors participating in the forum established operational frameworks to scale cross-border investments and convert commercial opportunities into long-term infrastructure projects. During discussions with participating business leaders, Sheikh Mohamed highlightd the vital role of private-sector leadership in advancing the strategic economic partnership between the two countries.
The Munich forum formed a key component of the UAE President‘s official state visit to Germany, which also included a bilateral signing ceremony in Berlin alongside German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on September 10, 2026.
