Yash‘s return to the big screen has crossed ₹190.45 crore net in India within four days of release, though momentum has stalled following a sharper-than-expected Saturday decline. Industry tracker Sacnilk figures show the Geetu Mohandas gangster drama pulling in ₹24.50 crore on its first Saturday across 17,612 shows, marking a 9.9 per cent drop from Friday that has left trade analysts and film investors watching ticket sales closely.
The Hindi version continues to lead regional earnings with ₹15.50 crore on day four, followed by the original Kannada at ₹6.60 crore, Telugu at ₹1.50 crore, Tamil at ₹75 lakh, and Malayalam at ₹15 lakh. Total worldwide gross has passed ₹254.75 crore, built on a massive opening day of ₹101.10 crore, followed by ₹37.65 crore on day two and ₹27.20 crore on day three. Despite clearing the entire lifetime haul of Yash’s 2018 hit *KGF: Chapter 1* in just four days, the film sits at roughly half the pace of *KGF: Chapter 2*, which collected ₹380.15 crore net in India at the same four-day stage.
For UAE audiences, *Toxic* is screening across VOX Cinemas in Kannada and Hindi formats, mirroring the global release pattern as ticket sales navigate a wave of mixed critical reception. Critics have pointed to a three-hour runtime and character writing concerns, though Kannada star Rishab Shetty publicly backed the project on X, praising the conviction behind the portrayal of a powerful man. Set against Goa’s underworld during the decline of Portuguese rule, the film features Yash in dual roles alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth.
