For the full day-by-day route through Dubai’s headline stops, see our Dubai itinerary guide. Two attractions worth building into your plan that guide doesn’t cover in depth: Dubai Frame and Museum of the Future, both easy add-ons near Downtown.
Dubai Frame
Set in Zabeel Park, this 150-metre gold-framed structure is built specifically to show you Dubai’s old and new sides from one spot: old Deira and Bur Dubai on one side, the glass towers of Downtown on the other. The highlight is walking across the glass-floored bridge connecting the two towers at the top, around 150 metres above the ground. It’s a short visit, an hour is enough, so it pairs easily with a Downtown Dubai day rather than needing its own slot.
Museum of the Future
This is one of Dubai’s most talked-about buildings, a torus-shaped structure covered in Arabic calligraphy, right on Sheikh Zayed Road near Emirates Towers. Inside, it’s built around a fictional future setting rather than a conventional exhibit hall: displays cover space exploration, climate solutions, biotech and AI, presented as an immersive walk-through rather than static cases behind glass. Timed-entry tickets sell out on short notice, especially around weekends and holidays, so book through VisitDubai.com before you fix the rest of your day around it.
Where these fit in your schedule
Both sit close enough to Downtown Dubai to slot into the same day as Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall without adding real travel time. If you’re following the day-by-day plan in our main Dubai itinerary guide, add Dubai Frame as a short stop on your Downtown day, and book Museum of the Future for whichever morning has the earliest available slot, since availability, not your schedule, usually decides when you go.
