Over at Dubai Design District (d3), the neighborhood’s creative calendar is shifting into high gear as preparations ramp up for a massive seven-day festival takeover.
Creative Hub Prepares for Seven Days of Design
The district is set to become the epicenter for the Middle East’s largest creative festival when Dubai Design Week makes its annual return this November. Residents, local studios, and design enthusiasts across the area are getting ready for a packed schedule spanning exhibitions, new commissions, pop-ups, talks, and hands-on workshops.
Staged in strategic partnership with Dubai Design District (d3) and owned and managed by the Art Dubai Group, the milestone 12th edition highlights both international artists and home-grown regional talent. The festival operates under the dedicated patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, with additional support from A.R.M. Holding.
Whether you’re an architect, engineer, urbanist, or just a regular visitor looking to explore new installations across the district, the week-long lineup offers open studios designed to cement Dubai’s position as the region’s design capital. Program schedules are currently rolling out ahead of the November opening.
