October 12 Reopening Set as Dubai Safari Park Unveils Private VIP Safari
Dubai Safari Park will officially reopen its gates on October 12, launching its eighth season under a new brand platform titled ‘Live More Wild Life’. First announced during the Arabian Travel Market at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the reopening sets the winter schedule for returning visitors and local families planning trips to the sanctuary.
New Private Group Tours and VIP Access Headed to the Destination
A primary addition for the upcoming season is the ‘Royal Safari Experience’. Built as a four-hour private package for groups of up to 10 people, the tour offers VIP treatment, reserved seating, and dedicated guided transport across the park’s grounds.
The upcoming season builds on operational shifts recorded during season seven, where the park expanded its wildlife population with a ‘Near Threatened’ Southern White Rhino alongside 143 newborn animals. The park also formally secured international accreditations during its previous run, joining the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) and the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA).
Commercial visitor patterns shifted significantly during the prior season, with business-to-business ticket sales rising 16 percent year-on-year and pushing B2B revenue up by 26 percent. These commercial bookings comprised 62 percent of the park’s total weekday footfall. To build on those trade volumes, the park appointed Buzz Marketing to handle sales representation in India and Action Global to manage trade partnerships across Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) markets.
Director Muna Al Hajeri confirmed that the park is expanding international travel trade partnerships while rolling out new visitor offerings ahead of the October opening.
