Pay UAE Taxes via Tabby and Jaywan Cards Under New FTA Rollout
Taxpayers across the UAE can now settle their official tax obligations using Tabby and Jaywan cards through the Federal Tax Authority’s official portal. The platform addition expands digital payment channels for residents and business owners managing their federal tax accounts.
Split Payments and New Digital Options for UAE Dues
The Federal Tax Authority’s update allows users to choose between the local payment card network Jaywan and Tabby‘s buy now, pay later setup. Under the buy now, pay later structure, Tabby pays the full balance directly to the government entity upfront, while the user repays that balance in scheduled installments according to pre-agreed terms.
This rollout aligns with similar digital payment integrations adopted by other federal entities across the country. In July, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation introduced Tabby to clear ministry fees and fines in installments ranging from four to 12 months, capped at Dh20,000 per transaction. That same month, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security added Tabby options for installment plans spanning three to 12 months on transactions up to Dh20,000, covering services such as Emirates ID processing, residency permits, and visa updates. The Ministry of Finance initially established the framework for paying federal government fees and fines through Tabby in November last year.
The addition of Jaywan and Tabby gives UAE taxpayers immediate access to more flexible payment channels directly on the Federal Tax Authority portal.
