Oman Sets EV Charging Tariffs Up to 120 Baisa Per kWh
Oman is rolling out a structured pricing framework for electric vehicle charging starting October 1, 2026, with rates spanning from 50 to 120 Baisa per kilowatt-hour.
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology finalized the tariff tiers alongside the Authority for Public Services Regulation and the Oman Net Zero Centre. Officials built the new framework to manage the country’s expanding EV market while keeping pricing clear for everyday drivers.
