UAE Demands Iran Halt Attacks After ADNOC Tanker Hit
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned an Iranian missile attack targeting an ADNOC-affiliated tanker in the Strait of Hormuz. The attack on the ADNOC-linked tanker is the latest in a series of incidents in the Strait of Hormuz, with the UAE calling on Iran to immediately halt these hostile attacks, fully cease all acts of aggression, and reopen the Strait of Hormuz unconditionally. The UAE has stressed that targeting commercial vessels and using the Strait of Hormuz as a tool of pressure or economic coercion amounts to acts of piracy by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, posing a direct threat to regional stability, the security of its peoples, and global energy security.
