GCC residents and their accompanying family members who want to visit the UAE need an entry permit (often called an eVisa) before they arrive. The permit is valid for 30 days, you can stay 30 days once you enter, and the stay can be extended once for another 30 days, subject to approval. You apply online through the ICP website or the UAEICP smart app.
Fees
A base fee of AED 250 is listed plus 5% VAT, with extra service charges depending on the channel you apply through. Earlier reports put the all-in cost at about AED 350, which is a safer budget figure. The exact amount is shown before you pay and can change with the details you enter.
