175 Sessions Open as Arab Media Summit 2026 Begins at DWTC
Commuters heading down Sheikh Zayed Road near the Dubai World Trade Centre will notice a busier precinct starting Tuesday morning, as the venue opens its doors for the largest iteration of its flagship media gathering to date.
The 24th Arab Media Summit officially begins on September 15, running through September 17. Operating under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, this year’s schedule expands across multiple halls.
A Packed Agenda Across Eight Forums
The event features more than 175 sessions distributed across eight specialised forums. Her Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and Chairperson of the Arab Media Summit Organising Committee, pointed out that the programme tackles the rapid geopolitical, economic, and technological shifts currently reshaping the industry.
Delegates will hear from a line-up of Emirati, Arab, and international speakers. Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, is scheduled to deliver the opening keynote address.
With senior UAE officials, creators, and media directors converging on the convention complex through Thursday, residents working or living near the immediate DWTC area should anticipate heavier foot traffic around the venue walkways and surrounding parking zones during the three-day run.
