Skip the Station: 4 Dubai Police Services Available On The Go
You do not need to wait in line at a police station to report a minor bump or log a complaint in Dubai. Dubai Police expanded its On The Go initiative in May to nearly 2,000 service points across the emirate, giving residents direct access to essential services at petrol stations and through smart digital platforms.
First launched in 2015, the program originally covered just five fuel stations. Today, you can handle four key non-emergency services on the move without stepping into a traditional station house.
1. Report Minor Traffic Accidents at Petrol Stations
Drivers involved in minor vehicle collisions can complete their accident reports directly at local fuel stations instead of commuting to a station. The service is available at autopro, ENOC, ADNOC, and Emarat stations citywide.
Getting your report filed at a service station gets you back on the road faster. It eliminates station queues and streamlines the paperwork required for insurance processing.
2. Have Lost-and-Found Items Delivered
You can arrange for recovered lost property to be delivered directly to your location. Dubai Police built a delivery option into its On The Go services to handle lost-and-found items remotely.
Instead of spending half your morning driving across town to reclaim an item, you can request dispatch right to your door.
3. Submit Cybercrime Reports via Smart App
Digital offences and internet fraud can be reported immediately through a dedicated smart app. Dubai Police added cybercrime reporting to its digital roster to let victims upload details and evidence directly from their mobile devices.
Filing your claim digitally creates an instant record without requiring an in-person statement at a police desk.
4. File Worker Complaints Remotely
Workplace grievances and labor complaints can be registered directly through On The Go channels. The service gives employees a direct route to submit official reports without needing to take time off to visit a station in person.
It keeps the grievance process straightforward, accessible, and quick.
