Emirates Secures 11 New Tourism and Codeshare Deals at ATM Dubai
Emirates signed eleven partnership agreements on the second day of the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, expanding its operational footprint across seven destinations and establishing new codeshare frameworks. The agreements enable the carrier and participating tourism authorities to tap into emerging customer segments and scale visitor flows across an international network spanning nearly 140 destinations.
During the exhibition, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, visited the Emirates stand to review recent cabin innovations and passenger experience updates alongside senior airline leadership.
Among the primary announcements, the airline renewed its ongoing collaboration with the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau. That partnership, originally established in 2022, supports the island nation’s tourism growth following a year in which the country welcomed more than 2.3 million international visitors, marking a 15.1 percent increase over the two million arrivals recorded during the previous year. Under the terms of the renewed agreement, Emirates will utilize its global route network to drive traffic through joint marketing campaigns, tailored excursions, trade incentives, familiarisation trips, and specialized travel packages across key feeder markets.
Alongside the Sri Lankan renewal, Emirates and the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority finalized a Memorandum of Understanding designed to stimulate travel and boost visitor arrivals to the emirate from select international regions. The wider suite of eleven accords combines destination marketing initiatives with expanded airline codeshare cooperation to deepen operational integration with partner carriers.
