Flights to Bahrain, Kuwait Cancelled: Etihad, Air Arabia Disrupt Travel Plans
Etihad Airways and Air Arabia have cancelled several flights to Bahrain and Kuwait due to operational reasons, affecting travellers flying to and from the UAE on Friday, July 31. Etihad Airways has cancelled flights EY653 and EY654 operating between Abu Dhabi and Kuwait, while Air Arabia has cancelled flights G9068, G9124, G9107, G9195, and 3L020 to Kuwait and Bahrain. Passengers are advised to check their flight status before heading to the airport, as airlines continue to monitor the regional security situation and adjust operations accordingly.
The latest disruptions come as tensions across the Middle East remain elevated, with several countries issuing travel advisories warning of possible flight disruptions, airspace restrictions, and changing security conditions. Emirates and flydubai have not announced any significant cancellations or operational changes, with flights continuing to operate according to schedule.
