UAE Golden Visa for Content Creators: How the Creators HQ Route Works
Content creators do not apply for the Golden Visa on their own. Dubai’s Creators HQ, launched in January 2025 at the 1 Billion Followers Summit, reviews applications and nominates approved creators for a UAE Golden Visa of up to 10 years. The visa needs no employer or national sponsor.
Who Can Apply
Creators HQ covers social media influencers, digital content creators, filmmakers, photographers, writers and authors, podcasters, video producers and other creative professionals. It has not published a minimum follower count. Applications are judged on a proven track record of impactful work, audience reach, engagement and growth, recognition or awards, and the potential to add value to the UAE’s creative community.
How the Process Works

| 3 | If approved, you receive a nomination email with the next steps |
| 4 | Take the medical test at the Smart Salem centre in Index Tower, DIFC |
| 5 | Have the visa processed and printed at the Services 1 centre in Emirates Towers. If you already hold a residence visa, it must be cancelled first |
| 6 | Collect your Emirates ID, which the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) issues |
What Creators HQ Offers
Alongside the nomination, Creators HQ offers help with paperwork such as filming permits, licences and tax registration, relocation support, company setup guidance and financial and legal support. At launch Dubai announced a AED 150 million Content Creators Support Fund and a goal of attracting 10,000 creators and influencers.
What Is Not Published
No visa or processing fees are listed in the reports we checked, and there is no public follower threshold. Check creatorshq.com for the current form and any membership costs before you apply.
